About This Clinic
The Mission Neighborhood Resource Center (MNRC) is an innovativeservice of the Mission Neighborhood Health Center in collaboration withNorth Mission service providers, community advocates, residents andmerchants to address the needs of homeless and marginally housedcommunities in the 16th Street Corridor.
The MNRC integratedservices provides health and dental care, acupuncture, substance abuse,mental health counseling and peer-led support as well as access tobasic amenities such as bathrooms, showers, lockers, and laundryfacilities. MNRC provides participant-centered, harm reduction servicesto improve the health and well being of clients by assisting them toengage in programs, reduce harms, and ultimately achieveself-determination, financial stability and independence. The clinic atMNRC currently operates under 20 hours per week as it awaitsindependent licensure from the state.
