About This Clinic

The Clinic provides dental services for low-income youth from birth to 18 years of age. Denti-Cal and other government insurances are accepted, while a sliding scale fee is available for uninsured who meet the Clinic's low-income requirements (at least 200% of the poverty level). Economically disadvantaged children with special needs and complex medical considerations are welcome. There are no geographic restrictions.

The CDHC provides multi-specialty dental services for low-income children: diagnoses aided by digital imaging or x-ray, fluoride treatment, restoration of teeth (fillings, root canals and crowns), as well as preventive dentistry and oral hygiene education.

The Clinic also provides specialized treatment, including periodontia, endodontia, oral surgery, treatment with oral or Intravenous Sedation (IV Sedation) and general anesthesia in the hospital operating rooms of Miller Children's Hospital. The CDHC also provides its patients Orthodontia at a reduced fee.

FEES/PAYMENT SOURCE

The CDHC accepts Government reimbursement for patients eligible for Denti-Cal, PPP and Healthy Families programs. For uninsured patients, cash fees are set on a sliding scale based on income. Rates are established after a financial review.
