Barrow County Health Department

The Northeast Health District is comprised of 18 clinics within a 10-county region including Barrow, Clarke, Elbert, Greene, Jackson, Madison, Morgan, Oconee, Oglethorpe and Walton counties. The goal of the Northeast Health District is to offer free or low-cost services to all people within our area and to promote healthy lifestyles among all member of our community. -Physical exams

-Breast Test Program (breast/pelvic exams, mammograms)
-STD evaluation/treatment
-Confidential HIV/AIDS testing
-Family planning (pregnancy testing, prenatal services/referrals)
-Pediatric assessment
-WIC program
-Health screening (metabolic, TB, blood pressure/hypertension, hepatitis, scoliosis, cancer)
-Environmental health services (lad, radon, sewage/septic, water)
