For those patients without insurance coverage, registration personnel will also request a recent pay stub.

FOR APPOINTMENTS

Patients are asked to call and make appointments in advance whenever possible. Appointments allow for reduced waiting time, prompt health care, and receiving health care from your assigned doctor. Appointments are conveniently made by calling 914-699-7200. You are asked to be on time for your appointments. Late and missed appointments cause considerable inconvenience to all. If you are not able to keep your scheduled appointments, you are asked to call the receptionist at 914-699-7200 twenty-four hours before the appointment to reschedule.

WALK-IN SERVICES

MTVNHC prefers that you make an appointment in advance of your visiting the Center. The Center does however also provide walk-in services for those patients who need to be seen on the same day and no appointment is available. Those patients will be seen on a first come, first served basis.
Emergency situations are handled immediately.

FEES FOR SERVICES

The goal of the Mount Vernon Neighborhood Health Center is to provide you and your family members with the best possible health care at the lowest possible cost. Insurance cards from Medicaid, Medicare, or other insurance organizations are invited. The Mount Vernon Neighborhood Health Center also has a sliding fee scale for patients without health insurance coverage so that quality care is provided to all patients without concern for the ability of the patient to pay. The sliding fee scale is individually adjusted according to family size and income.
