About This Clinic

This is a SLIDING SCALE clinic. The costs for clinic services are based on either your income or they offer type of financial assistance. Contact the clinic directly to discuss prices for individual services which vary. Sliding Scale does not necessarily mean free.

Madison Dental Initiative ia non-profit organizatino that provides dental care to the low-income and homeless populations of Dane County. The clinic is set up to do a wide variety of both preventive and restorative care, including root canals, stainless steel crowns, and denture services. The clinic has helped patients receive fillings and extractions, as well as preventive measures such as deep periodontal cleanings and dental sealants. MDI also has relationships with specialists in the area who can take on more complex cases.

Eligibility:  Anyone under 200% FPL without insurance, or enrolled in a Medicaid insurance plan with a dental benefit.

Intake procedure:  Call to schedule appointment

Fees:  Sliding fee scale for uninsured, accepts Medicaid co-pays

Hours:  Monday-Friday 9:00am-4:00pm

Urgent Care Clinic: Thursday 5:15pm-9:00pm
