Eligibility: All patients are welcome regardless of income or insurance status.
Appointments: For dental care, appointments are necessary. However, walk-in emergency patients are seen for an evaluation, radiographs, prescription and/or palliative treatment. They are then scheduled for follow-up care.
Procedure: New dental patients who are not currently registered and receiving medical care at Zufall Health must register prior to making their first dental appointment. Registration can be done on site at one of our locations in Dover, Morristown, or Flemington.
Registration: New patients will need to bring:
1. Identification
2. Proof of income such as a pay stub, income tax return, or a letter of employment
3. Verification of address
Patients without health insurance will be charged a sliding scale fee based on their ability to pay.
First Visit: The first dental visit consists of a clinical exam, x-rays, and treatment plan. Patients are then scheduled for an appointment for a cleaning or periodontal scaling based on the condition of their gums. All patients should bring a current list of medications, allergies, hospitalizations, and medical problems for the first visit and inform the dentist of any changes at future visits.
